The plug-in base O-ring is the seal that maintains a vacuum-tight connection between the toilet’s bowl/housing assembly and its base. When this O-ring deteriorates, vacuum leaks at the base of the toilet result in the vacuum generator cycling on more frequently and a loss of the powerful, bowl-clearing flush the VacuFlush system is known for.
