Published September, 1911, with (1) on last text page. This is also a decorated American trade binding; Very clean green cloth boards wqith blind-stamped botanical decoration and crisp unchipped white lettering on cover; white lettering on spine has some chipping (still clearly legible) as well as blind-stamped decoration. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. No fraying to cloth boards, but a little light surface wear to corners, slight bump to front board fore-edge and one corner tip. Previous owner name beautifully penned near top edge of front fixed endpaper. Half-title page has a torn away lower right corner (no missing print). All pages and edges are clean and bright. 377 pages. "This book is not a novel, but a record of the actual experiences of the woman who is the narrator."
